Well, it's finally here. The geek toy everyone's been waiting for, the Apple iPhone.
I gotta admit, this thing looks sexy. Flat screen, on-screen keypad, iPod capabilities, etc. I only hope it doesn't scratch as quickly as the average iPod.
While I'm not an Apple fanboy, I like a lot of the things they've done of late. I absolutely *love* my 30GB 5G iPod Video. And after looking at the latest Macs at the Apple Store in Denver I'd be seriously tempted to buy one were it not for me supporting Windows systems on a daily basis.
Despite this, I won't be buying an iPhone any time soon - two reasons:
- $500 to $600 plus a mandatory two-year contract is *insane*.
- Lack of provider choice - you get to deal with the singularity of suck (or should that be "cingularity" ;-) that is AT&T.
